This work was commissioned by the daughter of the soldier leading the patrol. Here is her response to the piece: You have touched my heart and my soul…. Not, only, have you captured my father's spirit, but his face, eyes, hands…and rosary….. oh, I can almost feel it…. Thank you Albert, thank you and God bless you!!! I am so excited, that is really an amazing piece of art, but for me…it means heritage..legacy…the most valuable piece I can ever get…Oh, what can I say… Thank you…You made my Mom and me cry....
